Great design is often taken for granted. We tend to forget the creative effort that was involved to bring it about, that behind great design is a designer or designers who tried to make the world a better place by solving a problem. Mediocre design is obvious because it is complicated, awkward, and difficult to use. Mediocre design is much easier to see than great design.
